I have a few announcements! One, my tripod has broken. I usually use my Canon 20D, however instead of using the standard zoom lens I use the 50mm f/1.8 lens; which is tricky to use for an OOTD! So I am currently stuck with my webcam on my laptop. I really wish I did more ootd's, but I will keep posting you all some even though the pictures won't be of the best quality. 

Also, I have a slightly new look! I have changed some fonts around as I wanted the blog to look more  professional; I hope it looks better!

I absolutely love writing eBay wishlists; purely because it makes me want to go shopping! Here is just some stuff that is currently on my watch list! I love this Victoria Beckham style dress (credit goes to the amazing Vivianista, go check out her blog!) and these huge platform shoes. Add a bit of pop with this orange bag and Models Own nail varnish in Emerald City.

I thought I would write a super quick DIY tutorial on how to transform your jewellery. I am currently writing this at the speed of light as I am rushing to work! I was in shopping today; and ran quickly into Primark. This gorg necklace was sitting in the reduced section for a £1, so I just decided to purchase it on a whim! I took it home and realise I didn't particulary like the colour of it - so I just grabbed my nail polish and painted over it! It's so easy and quick.

You should use a polish that you wouldn't mind buying another of (depending on how much you actually need) as this actually took a great heap from the pot. You should also consider using nail polish with a decent brush, especially when painting near the edges - you don't want to go over any other part of the necklace. If not, use an old paintbrush.

Any chance you do happen to go over any edges; make sure you have a tissue/cotton wool pad dipped in nail varnish remover ready to quickly wipe it up.

And voila! A whole entirely new necklace. I will paint over another layer tonight fixing the edges and you can still see some on the neon pink. You can do this to any type of jewellery, and you can change the colour as well!

Please excuse the lightness on the photos - it is dark outside today and my photoshop isn't being very helpful today, so I thought I would try something new and include some gifs! Tell me what you think!

Today I was initially planning on writing an OOTD, but unfortunately I am currently stuck in my bed (and have been since 11pm last night) with a really bad cold. I feel to rotten to take pictures, so I thought I would write an eBay wishlist instead. I love eBay so so much, quite a lot of my stuff will have been bought online. I just feel if you browse well enough, you can find products that high street stores don't have or a slightly different version that people who shop often will never have seen before - that's what makes somebody want to ask you that "oh my god where did you get that?!". Here I have found some bargain classics to save you leaving the house (or your own bed, in my situation).

This is literally just some of the stuff I have bought over the past month or so. I needed new earrings so I popped along to forever 21 and primark before uni one day and bought these two. As mentioned before on my blog; I received the Michael Kors watch for my birthday (a post about it here). The rings are from the lovely Love Hearts and Crosses - my new favourite online jewellery store! All the pieces on it are beautiful; and for amazing prices! I've wanted above-the-knuckle rings for ages after ASOS sold out of their cuff gold rings.

I finally bought the Alpha H liquid gold treatment in 200ml size after hearing the raving reviews about it.  I also purchased a couple of Tresemme's Platinum Strength range after Zoe Ldn said that she used it on her hair. My Philip Kingsley Maximiser is running out soon so I stocked up on my volumising products - and bought the Toni&Guy glamour volume whip in Boots.

I've seen a lot of smart trousers becoming popular recently; I only have another pair from Primark that are black lace but have never worn them. I seen these in Primark and had to buy them; I'm also going back in soon to buy a pair with the dogtooth pattern and another from H&M that are paisley print - similar to the pair Florence Welch wore with a clashing blouse at the Venice Film Festival. My spikey flats HAD to get thrown in the bin as they were falling apart, so I bought just a cheap Primark pair. 

I absolutely LOVE my new snakeskin doctor style bag! I like my Zara tote shopper, but I wanted a different bag that can be used for going out, but can fit all my sleepover stuff in as well if I'm away from home. This is perfect - I kept all my toiletries and next day clothes out the other night and it still looked like a going out bag; it's amazing!

For the past year and a bit, I've always wanted a decent watch - especially a Michael Kors one. I've had my eye on the Chronograph MK-5128 watch (preferably in Gold) but I really liked the MK-8077. It's huge and so heavy! I received this beauty for my 19th birthday last week and almost died when I opened the box.  I absolutely love it, it's so beautiful. It is definitely my favourite out of the other 4 watches I own. They have become increasingly popular recently, but they are so gorgeous! I am so happy to be a proud owner of such an amazing watch after so long!

I thought I would write a post on my Go-To items that are a must for carrying about with me when I'm on the go. 

My Chanel Perfection Lumière Flawless Fluid Makeup is my absolute favourite foundation - I got this for Christmas and there is still plenty left! It doesn't cake yourself and the colour is not too orangey. It's formula is perfect for my skin - as it abolishes all the shininess from my face whilst giving a lovely glow. 

My new and favourite product is the Lierac Huile Sensorielle Hydration 24H (picture also below). It's a lovely and gorgeous oil for your face, body and even to run through your hair. The smell is so fresh and summery, and is very subtle and not too strong. It's perfect for Spring/Summer, and makes your skin look incredibly refreshed. 

The Ted Baker Body Lotion is just a lotion I carry around for my hands - I love the smell and it's so small, and moisturizes my hands whilst I'm out.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of Batiste's products as they make my hair sticky. Instead, I go for Girlz Only Dry Shampoo as it takes to my hair much better. It makes your hair super thick as well and adds instant volume, without that horrible feeling of product build up in your roots. I use this to quickly  top up my hair during the day or out at night.

Recently over Winter (which has just left us about a few days ago) my lips were in such a bad condition. I actually cut my lip deeply because my lips were so dry, and whenever I was out the cold air would open it up again (which was incredibly sore!). As usual, I saw on QVC this Gatineau Defi Lift 3D Revolumising lip care, in which they had mentioned that this treatment repairs lips and keeping them in very good condition. I needed a new lip treatment anyway, and so far it has been successful! I love it and will last me over the summer as well.

I only ever use two products for my eyebrows, the Braun Eyeshadow Palette (after receiving at free sample at a Makeup Fair and never looking back!) and  the Models Prefer - Your Best Friend automatic eye pencil. I am a huge fan of Models Prefer - and after seeing this on Amazon about a year ago I purchased the duo. It is the perfect colour for my brows - and my Mum also lived off of this before she got her eyebrows tattooed! I always draw on the ends of my brows with this as it rubs off slighly during the day,

My beloved Ray Bans Aviator Sunglasses are perfect when the unpredictable Scottish weather brings out the sun! Especially when I'm driving and need to see.

I love the colour of my Topshop Velvet Lipstick in Innocent, as it goes with almost any outfit. I always carry it other than any other of my lipsticks. However, the texture is super super soft and velvety and I can feel disappearing every time I apply it.

My all time favourite blusher is the Mally Blusher in Pink Nectar. I always top up my cheeks with the tiniest amount so give myself a little colour.

Over the past week I have had uni deadlines and constant work, and then on Sunday it was my birthday! I turned 19 and spent it out on Saturday up in Glasgow before having my actual birthday at Word Up (which was mobbed for Easter Sunday). I was spoiled rotten by my family and friends, and now I'm spending this week relaxing and shopping!
